Ten Years for University of Vocatiional                                                  Technology                                                         The University of Vocational Technology has many proudly history. It is situated in Rathmalana. The University of Vocational Technology is established by the parlimnatary Act No.31 of 2008, and functions under the purview of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Skills Development. And we can see Degree Programmes Conducted by rhe Faculty of Traning Technology (FTT) and Faculty of Industrial and Vocational Technology (FIVT). The genaral objecticve of the University of Vocational Technology is to provide prgresive upword movement to the students in the Tecnical Education and Vocational Traning System, based on their aptitudes and abilities, to acquire university education.                                           And Deans are the heads of the faculties. They are responsible for the managment and the tasks carried out by the chancellor for three years. Our University have many facilities. Their are hostal facilities, Wi-Fi facilities, and comferable class rooms and etc. Our chanellor name is Pro. Dayantha Vijesekara, and our vice chancellor name is Pro. G.L.D. Wikramasinghe. And we have very beautiful and eco- friendly environment. It is most need for student's education. And we have many awords. Their are Uwa robote battle 2018 won first and theird places. And we should think about how provide our talents and activities.                                                                               And we have many socities and club. Their are Sports club, Gavel club, Vividra photogrphy club, Student Union and etc. This clubs and socities useful for our education and future. Therefore I think most better way is this clubs are provide for our future.                          Our University is the only  University for Vocational Technology in Sri  Lanka . There are more than three thousands undetgraduates in our university. Although this University just commonsed ten years ago, has genarated vast number of graduaets in different feilds.                                                                 It is a proud to me because I'm a student in this university.
