TEN POISONED UNIVERSITY OF VOCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY.
The University Of Vocational Technology of Sri Lanka is the university where I study. It was my second mam. I am writing this note to mark my university mother’s 10th anniversary.
I would like to put my mind to the history of my university. The land on which this university is situated is a marshy land. But has not been allowed to exist for long. In 1985.11.15 a major institution in this period started the J.R. Jayawardhana. But then the university was not started. At that time another institute was the teacher training institute was stared. After the national institute of technical education of Sri Lanka was established on the 1998.01.08 of Chandrika Kumaratunga period. These were the institutions that existed here before we stared our university.
Then the University Of Vocational Technology ACT no 31 of 2008 makes our university flourish for ten years in the Rathmalana area. Thousands of children, from the university Mother land, have worked with the world. It is a great pride for mother of the university. It stared at 31.03.2019 during the time of Mahinda Rajapaksha regime.
In the last ten years several officers, such as the chancellor, vice chancellor have been elected. The first vice chancellor was prof; Kapila Gunasekara. The second vice chancellor Dr: T.A.Piyasiri. The present vice chancellor is G.L.D. Wickramasinghe. Chancellor Vidyajorthi Dayantha.S. Wijesekara. The D.G Nilmini Diyabedanage. The logo of the mother of the university is a lamp with seven circle. This circle indicates the nation vocational qlification. (Degree)

The university is the model for education for all. The University’s vision is to be the premier university in the country to offer vocational and technical education to all aspring professionals.
After ten years of travel, there are many children at the University Of Vocational Technology today. The University Of Vocational Technology, which has been fighting for the betterment of its mother has been able to bring about a than better ever before.
The University Of Vocational Technology was previously shortened to the UNIOTEC name. The students are of the opinion that this is a TEC and this is a disgrace to the mother of the university as it built a picture. Because a now days that short name has allowed UOVT to spread out in to the streets. It is a dream of the university children to socialize and educate the society more than it has ever since the age of the ten. We wish all of you to fulfill this and make the university shine in its glory.
There are many achievements in the university during these ten years. There have been many victories in technical competitions. They are “S.L.I.T ROBO BATTEL 2015, Google I.D 2017, I.E.S.L, PRO FOOD PRO PACK etc.

There has been much to say in the past ten years, such as building education system, new degree programs, another major change is that this is the beginning of n.v.q. The idea was only for students, so the students who have passed the G.C.E A/L examination will have the opportunity to sail this knowledge.
The children of the mother of the university neglect their duties. It is a proud dignity of the mother of the university. Under the CSR theme “SISU SITHATA SISILAK” the theme is helping students to better themselves have fulfilled such a duty. In this 10 years so many valuable thinks.
As a students at the anniversary our singular wish is to prolong the life of the society and bring more precious children to the work world. Happy anniversary to mother in university.

There is a system of excellence with 12 departments and 15 course.The children of the mother of the university neglect their duties. It is a proud dignity of the mother of the university.
