Next President & Us
The 2019 Sri Lankan presidential election will be the 8th presidential election, scheduled to be held after 09 January and before 09 December 2019. The incumbent president Mr. Maithripala , Sirisena’s term of office will end on 09 January 2020, however he is eligible to run for a second term.
As of now, it is one of the most difficult questions of the minds of Sri Lankans ‘ Who will be the president of Sri Lanka in 2020. There are several possible names heard around the arena. Of podujana peramuna) The UNP front liner ‘ Sajith Premadasa’ are suggested along with the names of current president ‘Mithripala Sirisena’ and the Prime minister Ranil Wickramasinghe ( also UNP)
I like to Sri Lanka ‘Podujana Peramuna’. In next Presidential election my choice is ‘ Gotabaya Rajapaksha’ , because, now Sri Lanka is not safety country. ‘ Gotabaya Rajapaksha’ is a retired officer of the Sri Lanka Army, a former secretary to Ministry of Defence and Urban Development of Sri Lanka.
Today the government is not a good. Many of Sri Lankan people hate to the government.in before 2015 presidential election president ‘ Miththripala Sirisena’ said to us, ‘’ I will give you ‘ Yahapalana’ government. I develop this country very well’’. Then people gave to their choice for Mr. Sirisena, but now many of people understood he is not a good president in Sri Lanka.
Now I think Sri Lanka is not a safety area.So we want to the brave Lion in Sri lanka. I think our brave Lion is ‘Gotabaya Rajapaksha’. He will develop to mother of Sri Lanka. He can give to the safety for people. Now our Sri Lankan hero is ‘ Gotabaya Rajapaksha’.
So my idea is ‘Gotabaya rajapaksha’ will be a next president.
